Summer Concert Series

Edmeston, New York, Feb. 19, 2026 … Celebrate the great sounds of summer with Pathfinder Village during its Arts in the Community Concerts at the Pavilion. Free live performances will be offered each Monday in July and August, starting at 5:30 p.m.

 “Our free concerts have been a hallmark of summer in Otsego County for many years, and we’re excited to feature another great summer of music at the Pavilion," said Monica Clark, Director of the Pathfinder Village Foundation.  "We love sharing our community and our love of music with everyone. This year, we’re also bringing back our affordable food concessions so that families and music lovers can enjoy a light supper or refreshments as they relax during the performances at our Pavilion.”

Volunteers from the residents’ advocacy and advisory group, Council Rock, will organize the concessions.  Along with drinks and snacks, the Council Rock members will sell a light supper menu and ice cream treats from Gilligan’s of Sherburne. Details are on Pathfinder’s Facebook events pages. Food sale proceeds will benefit Council Rock’s diversity, equity, and inclusion outreach activities in the community.

The annual Concert Series is made possible in part with public funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the Earlville Opera House. Other support is provided by private donors.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring jackets and wear comfortable shoes for dancing. On-site parking is available, and in the event of inclement weather, performances will be held at Pathfinder’s School Gymnasium.  In 2025, Pathfinder Village’s concerts include:

• Mon., July 6, 5:30 p.m. Summer Kick-Off Concert with The Sundown Duo, which will present all your country and pop favorites.
• Mon., July 13, 5:30 p.m. The Small Town Big Band is a 15-piece band that performs music from the 1930s to today in the style of the Big Band era. Enjoy swing and jazz hits, including tunes by Miller, Dorsey, Basie, and other legendary band leaders.
• Mon., July 20, 5:30 p.m. Stetsons and six-strings are in fashion as Ten Gallon Matt shares his repertoire of classic and outlaw country favorites. Ten Gallon Matt authentically pays homage to Willie, Waylon, and Hank, and showcases crowd-pleasing hits by Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, and other country superstars.
• Mon., July 27, 5:30 p.m. The concert series introduces a new group, The Ancients, to the Pavilion!
• Mon., Aug. 3, 5:30 p.m. Less is more as the Crushing Midnight Duo -- vocalist Leslie Borden and guitarist Dave Harris -- play their own unplugged and bluesy versions of '80s and '90s hits and classics. 
• Mon., Aug. 10, 5:30 p.m.  K.O. Grainger is a two-man band that performs every type of music you can imagine, including rock, pop, classic country, and more!
• Mon., Aug. 17, 5:30 p.m.  Area favorite Josh Breen returns to the Pavilion with his acoustic performances of ballads, country songs, and pop tunes.
•  Mon., Aug. 24, 5:30 p.m. The Barnyard Saints will close out our summer series with their outlaw country, dance tunes, and other tunes.

Pathfinder Village is a non-profit, livable community that provides services and supports to people with Down syndrome and other intellectual/developmental disabilities. Through quality residential, educational, vocational, and enrichment programs, individuals grow toward fulfillment and independence while giving back to our local communities. Pathfinder also offers many avenues for community inclusion through concerts, events, adult day service offerings, the Bakery & Café, and Pathfinder Produce, the weekly fresh produce market that serves the public on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
