The Day Habilitation Manager is to provide oversight of effective day-to-day operation of day habilitation programs under the supervision of the Director and Clinical Coordinator of Adult Services. The Day Habilitation Manager will be responsible for staff supervision as well as the development of habilitative and or vocational activities and options for individuals served by Pathfinder Village Day Habilitation Services. 

Qualifications

• Education: Preferred - Bachelor's degree, Required - high school or equivalency

• Required Licenses: Valid NYS clean driver's license

• Required Experience: At least one year of experience working with individuals with I/DD

• Preferred: Supervisor/management experience

Hourly Rate: $19.00

At Pathfinder Village, the Job Coach is a part of our Prevocational Department of Adult Day Services. The Job Coach helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities develop vocational and interpersonal skills necessary to maintain successful integrated employment. Additionally, they may assist individuals in learning how to perform specific job tasks, as well as support individuals in navigating the workplace and communicating with employers. This position requires a candidate to have a high level of organization and time management skills.
Duties:

• Managing a caseload of individuals with disabilities
• Coordinating daily schedules
• Plan writing
• Daily documentation

Ensure all required hours with individuals are met on a monthly basis

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Clean driving record
• One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities

Hourly wage starts at $17.25 an hour and and is commensurate with experience.

VSPs will have opportunities to work in a variety of settings both on and off campus, as well as network with our various community business partners.

Pathfinder School is seeking a classroom aide. The classroom aide provides direct instructional or residential support services to children individually and in small groups under the general supervision of the special education teacher during school hours, and to the house manager when working residentially. Classroom aides are a part of a team working to support children in their instructional and residential program. As such, they are expected to support and assist in the general operation of the classroom or house. The classroom aide supports students to become more independent in the areas of academics, communication, behavior management, pre-vocational training, and other areas of daily living skills.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.

Hourly rate starts at $16.50 and is commensurate with experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

This position offers a competitive salary, with certified teachers starting at $58,000 for the 10-month school year. Those who choose to work the summer session can earn an additional $9,600, bringing the total potential earnings to $67,600. Candidates who are actively working toward their certification will be considered at a lower starting rate.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of each student, and fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills are essential.

Pathfinder Village presently has 12-hour shift openings for Direct Support Professionals. Primary responsibilities include providing direct care and residential guidance/supports for individuals living with intellectual and other disabilities within an open-access community setting. Additional duties involve advocating and supporting informed choices of individuals within the greater community. Strong record keeping skills, local travel, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing job training are required.

3 - 4 day work week.

No prior work experience is required. 

Starting hourly rate ranges from $16.25 to $20.50 an hour, commensurate with experience. Overnight staff get an additional $3 an hour shift differential on top of their base rate when working an overnight shift.
